The Good News, The Gospel
Directions everyone needs!
As you travel through Pueblo or anywhere on the highway, your safety depends on your willingness to heed the warning signs posted. The same is true in life.
Warning:
You cannot reach Heaven on your own! The Bible says, “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God!” Many well-meaning, sincere, even moral men and women have tried and failed. Doing good, attending church, or helping the poor, though honorable, are not sufficient to open the door to God’s Heaven. The Scripture says that salvation is “not by works of righteousness which we have done!” Because of our sin, we stand guilty and justly condemned before a holy God.
Good News:
“While we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” You see, God sent His only Son, Jesus Christ, to earth as a sinless man to be condemned in our place. Through his death on the cross He paid the penalty for our sin providing pardon and offering eternal life as a free gift. This allows God to be just and still forgive us as sinners. If today you will turn from trusting yourself, confess your sin, and place your faith in Jesus Christ alone, God’s Word says you “shall be saved.” (Romans 10:9-13)
If you would like to know more about God’s free gift of salvation, please call or email today. Merging onto the upward way will bring exciting life with Christ now and eternal life at the end of your road!
